Account Security & a Few Output Tweaks

Before the next big update drops, here’s a handful of smaller improvements we shipped in the meantime:

  • Two-factor authentication (authenticator app or SMS)
  • Add a timer above or below any other
  • Transparent blackout for OBS and overlays
  • One-click fullscreen messages
  • Live Connections: Kick All, Force Reload All, and a transport indicator for shaky networks
  • A controller slot that’s always reserved for you
  • Desktop: shorter share links by default (High-Security Mode is one toggle away)
  • Desktop: advertise all room feeds as NDI sources at once

 

Account security. Two-factor authentication is finally here. Turn it on in your user settings with an authenticator app (TOTP) like Google Authenticator, or via SMS in most countries. Long requested, now done.

Output tweaks. A few quality-of-life fixes: insert a timer directly above or below another instead of adding it at the bottom and resorting; a new transparent blackout that hides the foreground via the alpha channel — handy when you overlay an output in OBS; and fullscreen messages are now a single click instead of a two-step dropdown.

Live connections. This is where most of the work went. The Live Connections list now shows how each device is connected — WebSocket, or the polling fallback for networks that block WebSockets — and how long it’s been connected, so you can spot devices stuck on a flaky network. You can Kick All or Force Reload All connected devices in one action. And one device slot is now always reserved for the controller, so a room full of viewers can never lock you out of controlling your own timer.

Desktop. Share links are shorter by default now — High-Security Mode (signed, tamper-proof links) is still one toggle away when you need it. And you can advertise every room’s outputs as NDI sources at once instead of opening them one by one.

 

Meanwhile we’re working on folders for the dashboard and resumable timers as the next bigger release.
