Fun Fact

According to the Guinness World Records website, the record for the longest duration for a golf ball bouncing on a golf club is 1 hour, 20 minutes, and 42 seconds. The record was set by Gary Wren, a professional golfer and trick shot artist from the United Kingdom, on January 7, 2010.

Wren set the record as part of a fundraising event for the Cancer Research UK charity, and he used a variety of golf clubs to keep the ball bouncing for the duration of the record attempt. The record was monitored by Guinness World Record officials and was verified as official.

Wren's record-setting performance was featured in the Guinness World Record book, and it has remained the longest duration for a golf ball bouncing on a golf club as of 2021. Wren has also set a number of other Guinness World Records in his career, including the records for the most golf balls hit in one minute and the most golf club head covers removed in one minute.
